standard Polymex Plastic ( colour coded polyester film ) has
become increasingly recognised as a major engineering for
shimming, spacing and insulation because it is cost effective
in operation.
It
can be fabricated easily and provides a high strength to weight
ratio , good corrosion resistance, as well as low co - efficent
of friction, excellent resistance to wear, and is also safer
than standard shimmering materials. Polymex is now available
in various sheet sizes in stock.
Colour-Coding
is the easiest and most efficient way of identifying the thickness
of plastic material because it eliminates the use of a micrometer,
thus minimising error during assembly, hence saving down time.
