DUCT FOILS:
|
|
Duct Foil is an integral part of the
Heidelberg CPC system and is produced from milky white polyester
film. It is fitted into the Ink Duct Tray. The purpose of
the
foil
is
to act
as a
medium
between
the
CAM
system
and the ink duct roller. It prevents the ink from coming
into contact with the highly engineered CAM system. As a
consumable product, the Ink Duct Foil is designed to be disposed
off at the end of each print run which enables a fast and
easy colour change.
The properties of polyester
film ensures a Duct Foil of outstanding life, the material
is
tested against
UV and
conventional inks. The edges are permanently formed for a
secure and exacting fit to the ink ducts..
