HEAT STABILISED FILMS

Heat stabilised Polyester or biaxially orientated polyethylene
terephthalate (PET) film, is used in a multitude of applications
and markets due to their enhanced chemical resistance and
a number of
other critical attributes. Some of the uses include:
•Membrane Touch Switches
- graphics, circuitry and spacer layers.
•PSA and labels.
Speciality Laminates.
•Metallising and sputter coating.
•Bar Codes.
•Electrical and Insulation.
•Abrasives.
Heat stabilised polyester films are available in a variety
of gauges and in different types from super clear to hazy
and from translucent
to opaque white. Heat stabilised films are also available
with a number of pre-treatments to enhance adhesion of
inks and
coatings, to promote easier handling or restrict shrinkage
through processing.
