Description
|
Mylar® RL32
is a biaxially orientated polyester film with a relatively
thick EVA heat seal layer, it provides strong peelable
seals to a wide range of non-polar materials such as polystyrene,
polypropylene and polyethylene and also seals to polar
materials such as APET, CPET and PVdC. It is not suitable
for dual ovenable applications and should be used only
up to microwave conditions with a maximum temperature of
120°C.

Applications
|
This
film can be used as a single web e.g in sandwich lidding
or as part of a laminate e.g in microwaveable ready meals
|
Pre-treatment
|
Corona treatment on the non-seal side to
give improved adhesion to typical packaging inks. |
